"Find your balance" is a new service being introduced by the Counseling and psychological Services (CAPS) program at Indiana University of Indianapolis. This service is designed to promote and support the health and well being for students through free yoga classes. Our goal is to help students reduce stress and enhance and their mental and physical health. Whether your looking to manage stress, improve focus, or practice self care, "Find Your Balance" is here to support your journey to a healthier style of living.
Through finding a target audience, expanding outreach efforts, creating social media pages, collaborating with other campus organizations, and partnering with local instructors, we aim to increase participation and attendance within these classes. We also are focused on forming a community for students to connect with each other, and create a sense of belonging within our campus. By putting a focus on the benefits of yoga when it comes to stress reduction, mindfulness, and wellness, our service will encourage students to remain motivated when it comes to mental health to succeed in everything life has to give.
